There are several resources for researching topics relating to the laws and policies relating to cybersecurity. However, selected resources for getting started include:
Congressional Research Service (CRS) Reports (univeristy login required). CRS Reports are widely recognized for providing objective and nonpartisan policy analysis on a wide range of issues. The reports assess policies, programs, and legislation, and summarize legislation. CRS reports are written by subject experts. There are several CRS reports relating to crisis management, disaster response, and emergency planning. There are also CRS reports for most states discussing the state's statutory authorities for homeland security and emergency management.
