Journals

Maryland Law Review is the oldest journal at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and is recognized as the pre-eminent student authority on developments in Maryland law.  The Maryland Law Review is available in print in the Law Library, online via several subscription legal research services (HeinOnline, Lexis Advance, and Westlaw Next), and also from the journal's web site.

Drake Journal of Agricultural Law is available in print in the Law Library, online via several subscription legal research services (HeinOnline, Lexis Advance, and Westlaw Next), and also from the journal's web site.

Kentucky Journal of Equine, Agriculture and Natural Resources Law is available in print in the Law Library, online via several subscription legal research services (HeinOnline, Lexis Advance, and Westlaw Next), and also from the journal's web site.

San Joaquin Agricultural Law Review is available in print in the Law Library, online via several subscription legal research services (HeinOnline, Lexis Advance, and Westlaw Next), and also from the journal's web site.

Although the full academic subscriptions to Lexis-Nexis and to Westlaw are restricted to current students and faculty, a more limited version of Westlaw is available to on-site library visitors.  HeinOnline is also available to on-site visitors.

Agriculture News.  Official blog of the AALS section on agricultural law.

Baltimore Sun.  The Baltimore Sun newspaper provides the most comprehensive coverage of Maryland news. 

Bio Tech Watch (Bloomberg BNA).  This publication provides timely coverage of state environmental legislative, regulatory and judicial developments (Law School access only).
  • Bloomberg Law (subscription required) :: Bloomberg BNA (subscription required or on-site use at the Thurgood Marshall Law Library)
The Maryland Natural Resource.  This quarterly magazine publishes stories relating to outdoor recreation and the conservation of Maryland's natural resources, but will occasionally publish stories relating legislation or regulatory activities.
 

Food Law and Policy

Parke Wilde, Food policy in the United States: an Introduction (2013). Author Parke Wilde of the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University writes about U.S. food policy in the U.S. Food Policy Blog.

Harvard Food Law and Policy Clinic has created a toolkit for state and local food policy councils,  Good Laws, Good Food: Putting Local Food Policy to Work for Our Communities (July 2012).
