Animal Law.  A student-edited law journal at the Lewis & Clark Law School (sometimes referred to as the Animal Law Review).  It was the first journal dedicated to animal law issues and is widely recognized for publishing articles on all aspects of animal law.

Animal Law eJournal.  An online journal that accepts working and accepted papers on topic relating animal laws and policies. 

Journal for Critical Animal Studies (formerly Animal Liberation Philosophy and Policy Journal).  A scholarly journal published by the Institute for Critical Animal Studies (ICAS) that focuses on the opposition to animal studies and research and examining the policies, concerns, and activities of the animal liberation movement.  While articles appearing in the journal are frequently authored by academics, the journal's editorial philosophy is aligned with the ideals of the Animal Liberation Front, an organization that critics have compared to a terrorist organization for its member's often violent attacks on animal testing laboratories and farms.

Journal of Animal Law & Ethics.  A student-edited law journal at the University of Pennsylvania School of Law that was published from 2006 to 2009.  The journal focused on intersection of policies, morals, and animal law. 

Journal of Animal & Natural Resources Law (formerly the Journal of Animal Law).  A student-edited law journal at the Michigan State University College of Law.  The journal publishes articles addressing the local, state, national, and international laws and policies relating to animals and natural resources. 

Journal of International Wildlife Law & Policy.  A peer reviewed journal that focuses on foreign and international laws and policies concerning wildlife conservation and the preservation of natural habitats.

Stanford Journal of Animal Law and Policy.  A online student edited journal at the Stanford Law School that publishes articles concerning the laws and policies relating to the treatment of animals.


Newspapers, Magazines, and Current Awareness

Animal - News and Current Events.  Animal maintains a web page that aggregates and links to animal law news stories from various publications.

Westlaw - Animal Law Topical News. A database available on Westlaw that collects newspaper and magazine articles, journal articles, newsletters, press releases, television and radio transcripts, and congressional testimony related to animal law.
