The federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and other food and drug laws are codified in Title 21 of the United States Code.

The FDA Web site provides a comprehensive list of relevant statutory enactments. The site also contains a table of significant amendments to the Food Drug and Cosmetic Act.
